The name ‘Colossus’ has particular significance for our organisation. Our Managing Director, Dimitri Kafkakis – has a long family history from the Greek island of Rhodes.

The Colossus of Rhodes was one of the seven ancient wonders of the world and, we believe, is a name both appropriate and fitting for a company that offers protection.

Our team has more than 50 years of collective experience in fire protection systems. Across advisory, sales, installation, testing and maintenance services, we give our clients single source peace of mind.

Our Team

Our established team consists of highly skilled fire technicians with extensive industry knowledge and great involvement in projects of various size and complexity.

Our team also consists of apprentices who are all registered with the appropriate training organisations.

This allows our passionate and qualified technicians to support and provide hands on experience while apprentices are completing qualifications.

Apprentices are a vital part of the business as they bring in fresh ideas and ways of doing things that we are more than happy to adapt to keep our business current and up to date.

The owner and founder of the company Dimitri Kafkakis strives to offer clients the highest quality of service and maintains positive relationships making sure clients are happy from the start till the finish of the project.
